Is the Samsung S6102B Galaxy Y Duos Next G / XT compatible?

Yes, the device is Telstra Next G / Telecom XT compatible. The device however only allows for 3G to be used in one SIM slot at a time. The other SIM slot must use 2G.

How do you switch between SIM cards for calls and texts?

Pull down the notification menu, and click on 'SIM 1' or 'SIM 2'. You will see a '1' and a '2' next to the network names. (e.g. 1. Telstra 2. YES OPTUS). Both SIM cards are active simultaneously to receive calls and SMS at any time.

Can I have both SIM card data networks activated simultaneously?

No, you can only have one SIM cards data network activated at any given time.

How do you switch between SIM card data networks?

Navigate to 'Apps > Settings > SIM card manager' and scroll down. Click on 'Data service network' and select either 'SIM 1' or 'SIM 2'.

How do you configure APN settings for both SIM cards?

Navigate to 'Apps > Settings > Wireless and networks > Mobile networks'. You will then have the option of switching between SIM 1 and SIM 2 at the top of the menu. Select the relevant SIM card and click on 'Access Point Names'. You can create a new APN by clicking the capacitive menu button, and selecting 'New APN'. You will then need to enter the relevant APN settings, save them in the menu, and activate them in the 'Access Point Names' menu, by clicking on the circle next to the APN.
